10 Workouts To Get Started - Intermediate Swimmers
If you have swum before but just CAN'T PICK where to start, start here. If these workouts seem just a little too challenging, don't be afraid to check out the Beginner Workouts and work your way up to these.

Probably the best place for you to start would be the workout we have to help you Determine Your Base. Then move on to these...
- Bluebanded Goby (Nice intro to get you back in the water, with a little speed)
- Siamese Fighting Fish (More practice working on your bases)
- Red King Crab (Introduces some stroke)
- Beluga Sturgeon (A little technique work, throws in some drills and speed)
- Southern Blue-Ringed Octopus (Upping the distance a little bit)
- Wobbegong Shark (Short and fast)
- Blue Crab (A longer workout, good way to confirm that you are swimming on the right base)
- Porcupine Ray (Shorter but with IM!)
- Common Fangtooth (Fast 100s with lots of rest)
- Cushion Star (A quick but challenging workout...if you find this easy, you need to bump your base down 5 seconds.)
